Advise & technical studies

Pre-sale support

Our project team also has business skills to help you translate your studies into sales. In fact, it is up to us to help you understand all the challenges of a project that hide behind specifications. In the pre-project phase, we help our partners to carry out technical studies.This assistance can take several forms depending on the complexity of the projects and your needs
of assistance, we can:

Accompany you for a site visit to develop a camera layout plan,
Help you in the choice of cameras, sizing of video surveillance systems
third party and network architecture design,
Participate in pilot tests or proof-of-concepts.


When responding to calls for tenders or customer requests, we do more than send you our brochures and price lists. We will assist you in drafting your offer for the Intelligent Video Monitoring (VCA) positions. We can also advise you on other positions that relate indirectly to it (architecture, lighting, choice of cameras, masts, cables, accessories, etc.).

Commissioning & support

The installation and configuration of video analysis solutions requires the utmost care and in-depth knowledge of the technology.

For the implementation of our solutions at your customers, you can choose from three levels of support:

On-site deployment assistance: You benefit from the support of an ACIC field engineer who will become your preferred contact throughout your project. You will then have the guarantee of a fast and lasting commissioning. In this case, contractual performance commitments may be made by ACIC. This service is limited to ACIC’s domestic market (300km around its headquarters in Mons, Belgium – possible exceptions on project)

The remote support:

By using remote collaborative working technologies, we provide you with on-the-spot help to raise hard points during your installation. ACIC implements support tools to support
regular monitoring of your requests for assistance.
Support for your installation recipe:

On request, we can provide you with on-the-spot assistance during your pre-acceptance checks to better prepare your deadlines with your clients. At the key moment in your project, you can benefit from ACIC’s experience in implementing video analysis solutions.

Through its training programme, ACIC is committed to making its partners autonomous on its range of video analysis products.

The topics covered in training range from the design of a complete video analysis solution, to the integration with third-party components (Cameras, VMS, Hypervisor) of such an installation, until we learn about our CACL software configuration tools. Practical laboratory work is organized to validate the skills acquired by your teams.

The maintenance of our systems is also presented to allow you to make the diagnosis in case of failure, the updates of the software and the complete restoration of an installation. Partners who decide to follow our training program benefit immediately:

  • Three types of maintenance are defined in our contracts:

Corrective maintenance (software and/or hardware):

This maintenance relates to software and hardware delivered by CACL. We are committed to correcting, within the time limits defined by the contract, the potential malfunctions encountered on your installation. The first-line maintenance training program, followed by our integrator partners, allows for an efficient recovery of problems and therefore an optimal processing time for the end customer.

Proactive maintenance (visit or remote):

Contract type subscriptions entitle you to regular, usually semi-annual, visits from an ACIC technician to monitor the proper operation of your facilities. Proactive maintenance can be performed remotely if a secure Internet connection is available.

Software Updates:

ACIC invests heavily in R&D, which allows us to evolve our products and regularly expand our range. Thanks to the software update program, you can benefit and share with your customers the latest technical advances of our products. These developments can affect our video analysis applications as well as our integration components to third-party software.

It is also possible to subscribe to warranty extensions on the hardware to fit the needs of your most demanding customers.
